More important is that we are providing continuous mental health and psychosocial support to adversely affected individuals and families.
We are dedicated and committed to achieving our mission of promoting optimal mental health for all with inclusive services to achieve the enrichment of lifestyles and health of communities by improved mental health and psychosocial support services.
These programs are focusing on mental health for the most vulnerable communities who are in unmet need of mental health care services.

One Love continues to address the challenges of the health crisis presented in COVID-19 for the most marginalized and vulnerable; we stay focused on how we can impact lives that were changed because of stigmas; the isolated, those unable to travel, meaning vulnerable individuals- were attended with essential mental health care.
The organization pivoted and adapted programming in order to meet the changing needs of the community people and reached them with innovative interventions and methods to reduce the risk of infection by supporting health care delivery using digital communication channels. A higher proportion of community reached during delivery of mental health services in 2020 including 75 patients received therapy in mental health.
One Love was established in 2020 with front-line mental health care services with the vision to bring positive impact in individuals’ lives, by mental health awareness to our most marginalized communities. In the situation of Covid-19 when health workers on the front line had an increased risk of developing severe symptoms due to increased exposure to the virus, reduced health workforce when it was needed most.
Dr. Dionne Maylor continued to do outreach within the community even though social distancing severely impacted the mental health and wellbeing of individuals. The organization continues to work with groups and local and community level agencies to improve access to mental health services for minority /immigrant women, men, children, and any vulnerable and marginalized individuals needing mental health help.
